The Community Foundation of the Central Blue Ridge is a nonprofit organization that provides a simple, powerful, and highly personal approach to giving. We offer a variety of giving tools to help people achieve their charitable goals - and create lasting good work in our community.
As one of the largest philanthropic institutions in the Central Blue Ridge, we are committed to careful stewardship of and thoughtful investment in our region’s future. Unlike other non-profit organizations, we are endowed in perpetuity. We are committed to the welfare and brighter future of all of our residents. In 2008, our distributions amounted to almost $500,000. Since the inception of our organization, the cumulative value of our gifts and grants exceeds $3.3 million.
