The Community Foundation of the Central Blue Ridge is now accepting applications for the John W. Greene Memorial Scholarship through November 15, 2011. The John W. Greene Memorial Scholarship was established in 2009 to provide funds for educational scholarships to Waynesboro First Aid Crew members and/or their family members and Waynesboro Fire Department members and/or their family members. There will be ten $1,000 scholarships available for the 2012-2013 school year. There are no restrictions to the school or field of study. High school seniors and adults returning to college are encouraged to apply.
